Dress warmly, helmet on, then the mine train thunders into the dark tunnels. 300 meters underground, mountain guides explain how lead and zinc ores were mined and extracted. A huge hoisting machine and a deafening drilling rig are very impressive. A Dutch-language audio guide is available for the tour of the pit. In the Mining Museum, tools, machines and sparkling minerals tell the story of the miners' world. Hiking enthusiasts start on the 11-km-long mine hiking trail.
