In Haus Ripshorst in Oberhausen, the RVR visitor center offers detailed information about the entire region between Duisburg and Hamm.

The visitor center is an information center and starting point for tours and excursions, including on the industrial character. Exhibitions are also regularly organized on various topics, as currently the industrial nature is receiving full attention.
