Upper Silesia is a region that has grown over the centuries with many cultural, linguistic and political influences in the heart of Europe. The Oberschlesisches Landesmuseum focuses on spreading knowledge about the past and present and on intergenerational dialogue. Besides the permanent exhibition, there are changing exhibitions, a broad museum education programme, workshops and contemporary witness projects.
