Exciting adventures will take you to special places in Mülheim an der Ruhr, such as Broich Castle. One of the highlights among the city’s attractions—and at the same time the city’s oldest monument—can be visited on various guided tours. Since May 2025, you can virtually experience its 1,000-year history using the free app “Björn | Time Travel Broich Castle.”

Would you like to enjoy an unforgettable outdoor event with friends—one that’s active and sustainable? For all groups of 8 to 14 people, a guided tour on the “MüWi” is the best experience on the Ruhr! Row in a faithful replica of a Viking ship, breathe in the fresh Ruhr air, and have a great time. All tours are led by an experienced skipper. For larger groups, a canoe can be booked upon request, subject to availability. The season runs from April through October.
