Westphalia and the "Peace of Münster," which established the sovereignty of the Netherlands in 1648, will become a Bach city from May 17-26, 2024. Under the motto "Bach inspiriert," the 98th Bach Festival, organized by the Neue Bachgesellschaft, will take place in the friendly Westphalian metropolis with about 60 events featuring top international and local artists. The Münster Bach Festival is organized by a team of Münster-based trustees and is under the patronage of the Prime Minister of North Rhine-Westphalia, Hendrik Wüst. With more than 60 concerts by regional choirs and ensembles, the supporting program Basso Continuo will get you in the mood for the Bach Festival in the Münster region.
