Under the motto "Hands Up For More," these top teams from around the world will compete in five cities: Rotterdam, 's-Hertogenbosch, Dortmund, Stuttgart and Trier. For the Netherlands, it is a milestone in handball history. The last World Cup on Dutch soil took place in 1986. After the sporting results in recent years, it is a logical step that not only Germany but also the Netherlands as organizing country may put the handball sport in the shop window with a World Cup on its own soil. The World Cup will run from November 26 to December 14, 2025.
