A visit to the StiftsMuseum is a beautiful experience. Here visitors are introduced to goldsmith's art, wood carvings, liturgical vestments, sculpture, books and the exciting history of the Canons Foundry in Xanten. The ecclesiastical museum contains many beautiful and rare treasures. It makes the cultural history of two thousand years of the Lower Rhine come alive. A visit to the nearby church can be well combined with a museum visit. Many texts and the audioguides are available in Dutch. Guided tours can also be booked in Dutch.
