Niederrheinischer Radwandertag

This annual cycling day is held in Niederrhein.

This cycling day will take place on July 5, 2026. More than 30,000 cyclists will participate in this event. A total of 60 locations in the Lower Rhine region and neighboring areas in the Netherlands offer approximately 80 cycling routes of varying lengths to choose from. Enjoy the varied landscape by bike and combine it with a local experience—that’s what you can do in the Lower Rhine region. Many restaurants, farms, or farm shops along the routes invite you to stop by for a visit or take a tour. A colorful supporting program offers cyclists extra fun at the start and finish points. If you have at least two stamps on your card, you can participate in the grand prize drawing with many high-quality prizes, such as a bicycle or an overnight stay at a hotel in the Lower Rhine region. It’s definitely worth spending more than one day in the area between the Rhine and the Meuse.
