This museum displays a collection of modern international sculptures rare in Europe, the unique combination of outstanding museum architecture and a sculpture park. This collection is located in one of the most unusual post-war museum buildings located in the center of Duisburg.

Born in Buenos Aires in 1976 and living in New York, artist Mika Rottenberg presents her most comprehensive exhibition to date in Germany with "Queer Ecology" (through Feb. 22, 2026). Video installations, interactive works that visitors can touch themselves and luminous sculptures, the so-called "Lampshares," stimulate our senses and make us smile, irritate and surprise ourselves.
