BILDSTÖRUNG STREET THEATER FESTIVAL DETMOLD
From May 17 to 19, 2024, the festival Bildstörung showcases traditional and experimental forms of theater and dance, performance and contemporary circus, audio-walks and participatory projects in public space. Every Bildstörung is different!
Time and again, great artists inspire and irritate spectators with their performances. Bildstörung 2024 is: hypnotic dance, fantastic worlds, socially critical perspectives, fluid identities, playful manipulations, humorous encounters, intense observation, poetic journeys and much more. 20 international institutions with around 100 artists have been invited to play people in the middle of everyday life for 3 days in known and unknown places.
