Theater Oberhausen has a new dance department! As the only municipal theater in Germany, its young ensemble presents contemporary urban dance to an international audience and the urban scene.
In addition to battles and community-based formats, large dance events featuring well-known guest choreographers are also held regularly. In the current double bill *KIPPPUNKTE*, the ensemble explores—through dance—those moments when everything seems to hang in the air and nothing is as it was before. Choreographer Yeliz Pazar focuses on the time leading up to the tipping point. The second part is created in the recognizable style of Christian Zacharas, alias Robozee.
