Hiking Day Ruhr 2025

This year's second Ruhr Walking Day takes place around the Bochum Railway Museum.

During the first Ruhr Hiking Day last year, numerous hiking enthusiasts laced up their laces to discover the Hoheward Landscape Park in late summer via the two designated hiking trails. The tours led over seven or twelve kilometers on foot through the landscape park and to interesting intermediate destinations. At the stamping stations, guided tours, information about the Ruhr hiking region and hands-on activities such as skills training and competitions were offered. This included hiking maps, coloring books, buttons and flower arrangements in luggage. September 27, 2025 is the day!
