Ruhrtriennale, cultural festival This “International Festival of the Arts,” taking place from August 20 to September 20, 2026, is the most important arts festival in the Ruhr metropolitan area. During the festival, many major industrial landmarks are transformed into spectacular performance venues. The festival’s focus is on creations and productions that engage in dialogue with the distinctive performance venues.
